俗话说得好：“得阅读者得天下。”作为高考英语分数最大的板块（约三分之一的分数），今年的阅读难度又如何？纵观整个今年的阅读试题，从阅读字数来看仍然和06年与07年相当，约2400左右的阅读量。从题型上看，仍然遵循08高考考纲对阅读部分的要求，共考察了四大题型（如下图所示），而且出题相当传统，难度中等，我个人的感觉是比07年的阅读要简单！同学们只要按我上课时所教的方法一一对应，即可得到一个绝对的阅读高分数。

从上图我们可一看出来，题型分布仍然以细节题为主，共12道题，占60%，真是“细节决定成败”啊！细节题是很好做的题，该类题型主要考察我们定位，寻读，跳读的能力，我们只需要在题干或选项中寻找关键信息然后回到原文寻找即可。比如我们以A篇的41题为例：题干问which of the following is true according to the second paragraph?,从题干我们可得知该题一定在第二段，属于细节题中的according to题型，那么我们就可以把第二段看一遍，我们可以从shock, roast, ach词可以得知,作者的感受很不好，所以该题应选C：Bright Angel Trail was not as lovely as we expected. 我们再看43题也是个细节题，题干告诉我们定位Canyon trip by air,我们在第三段中可定位到，然后往后看到disappoint, legs like jelly,我们可得知作者感觉很害怕，所以该题选A：it proved to be frightening.

接下来我们分析一下其他题型，主旨题，考了2个，细节推断题考了3个，词汇句义题2个，跟往年一样，没多大变化。我们来具体分析一下，B篇的48题是道主旨题，同学们采取我教你们的主旨题文章结构与选项分析和解答技巧可从文章首段最后一句话photos also tell stories得知应选A:telling a story through pictures。该选项也符合选项设计中我教大家的“同义替换原则是解”的技巧。
最后我来点评一下词汇句义题，我以B篇的45题“they”为例，这道题属于我给大家讲过的指代题型，同学们看到这种题型就要马上想到我的“极速解题法则”，八个字——就近原则，往回寻找因为指代题一定指代前面出现过的，当我们往回寻找时可发现they就是前一句的主语“photo”,于是很轻松的得出解来。同学们做对了吗？
从以上分析可得出，今年的阅读还是“外甥点灯——照旧”，没走“美特斯邦威”路线！还有也再一次说明了阅读的方法与技能是非常重要的。一个学生发短信说没用技巧前他要错7个（可怕吧），但用了后，发现错误减少到了2个！所以了解高考的命题趋势和掌握好的方法可以让我们事半功倍，在高考中获得更好的成绩！

这次单选都是针对基础语法点的考核，相对于06年和07年的语法难度有所下降，更注重了对于常用语法的考查，而并非一味强调生点难点，所以只要考生注意日常积累，一定会取得不错的成绩。
刘楠老师点评2008陕西高考英语完形填空
完形填空一直是高考学生比较头痛的部分，因为在250字左右的文章中有20个词缺失，要求学生凭借自己的语法能力，词汇能力，最重要的是对整个篇章的理解，对于前后逻辑的把握，对上下文情景关系做出推理判断，从而选出最佳答案。这要求学生有扎实的语法知识和词汇知识，具有准确抓住文章中心思想和把握文章部分与整体关系的能力。这部分在高考英语试卷中是个很好的分水岭，它考察了学生整体运用语言的能力。
2008年陕西高考卷的完形部分延续了2006和2007年的体裁--记叙文，这也在整体上控制了这部分的难度，因为记叙文是完形中相对简单的一种体裁。考点还是主要集中在语法知识运用，固定搭配，词义辨析和逻辑常识推理四个方面。我们看一下原文。
