* Yep. Many ads can be seen in China. Creative visualisation is used by advertisers to pimp a product and I think it is only fair. A consumer should be aware of what they are buying at the end of the day.
How do you feel about advertisements?
* Advertisements are used to persuade people to buy more products, and most of them only publicize the advantages of the products and ignore the disadvantages. So I think most advertisements make the products much better than what they really are.
* That is the skill of advertising. Advertising is not about showing you a product, it is about showcasing a product to make it viable as a commercial product.
What kind of advertisement do you like the most?
* I like ads that make me laugh because they appeal to me.. doesnt necesarily mean i will go and buy that product.
Word-of-mouth advertising. It is important for every business, as each happy customer can steer dozens of new ones your way. And it's one of the most credible forms of advertising because a person puts their reputation on the line every time they make a recommendation and that person has nothing to gain but the appreciation of those who are listening.
Do advertisements (ever) influence your choice about what to buy?
* No. I don't let some schmuck tell me what I'm going to buy -- cars, computers, or whatever. If I'm interested in a product, a car for example. I will look at the advertisements for different cars, but I don't make a decision based off an advertisement.
* Knowing HOW TO CREATE a killer ad is knowing how an ad works influencing people.
* Yes. Advertisement is different for each medium. I personally am not influenced much by TV advertising, but I am very influenced by ads that appear in the graphic and web design magazines I subscribe to.
Where can we (or, what are the various places where we can) see advertisements?
* TV..Radio..Magazine..Poster...Leaflet...Brochure...
Do you prefer advertisements on TV or those in magazines?
* It depends on the product. If i am looking for a book to buy, I prefer Magazine. I think TV is already drowned in advertisement, so it wouldn't do much good, especially since this is not the kind of product that lends itself to "flash" marketing.
* A magazine is OK. And you're already addressing people who believe in reading, so that's a plus.
