新GRE®普通考试备考ETS官方交流会于2013年12月5日在京举行。美国教育考试服务中心GRE项目沟通与服务总监Dawn Piacentino谈到GRE考生申请美国研究生院六大注意事项?以下是会议记录：

Six Things You Need Know Before Applying to Graduate or Business School

1.You should review the policies and procedures in the GRE® Registration & Information Bulletin to understand the policies before you register to test. For example, you should:

•Review the ScoreSelectSM options and know the repeater policy.

2.There are many FREE GRE® test preparation materials that can help you do your best on test day.

•Plus, there are a number of other new, official GRE test preparation materials available, including videos and a mobile app!

3.Participating in the GRE® Search Service means you can hear from schools/programs you might not have even considered.

4.You can review the list of MBA Programs that accept GRE scores on the GRE website at /gre/mbaprograms to see if the schools to which you are applying accept the scores.

5.You can interact with other students on the official GRE® revised General Test page on Sina Weibo at /takethegre to get answers to your GRE questions.

6.You should consider taking a GRE® Subject Test and take advantage of the four FREE ETS® PPI Evaluation Reports to provide schools a more complete picture of your abilities.

进行研究生院的申请的时候，有六点是考生值得注意或者说应该了解的内容。你应该看一下GRE的报名手册上面，有关于考试的要求，考场须知等等。也可以充分利用网上提供的很多的免费GRE备考材料，另外还有一些购买的备考材料。

如果不太清楚自己要申请哪所院校，就可以参加搜索服务。我们有些考生不太了解国外的大学，他不知道自己应该申请哪些大学比较好，可以选择搜索服务。如果这个考生考虑申请商学院，我建议这个考生可以在我们网站上看一下哪些商学院接受GRE层级，我们每周更新商学院名单。有时候我们考生也可以直接打电话到商学院问，是不是接受GRE。有的时候他们商学院的名字还没有更新到名单当中，虽然我们每个星期都更新。另外还可以在新浪或者是在微博上面和其他的考生进行交流。也可以考虑参加专业考试，并且也可以使用免费的PPI的评估报告。这样就能够让你理想的压力院校知道你的能力。
