Those colleges and universities, therefore, have made counselors, advisors, and programs available to international students to help them navigate hardships such as home-sickness or language and cultural barriers. While all schools offering programs to international students have some degree of assistance available, not all have a large population of international students. When considering what college or university to attend in the United States, consider whether or not you would like to be in the company of other international students.
