被忽视的排名：《泰晤士报》高等教育学生体验调查

这个面向15,000个英国大学本科生的问卷调查，涉及21个参数（问题方向），其中授课环境、讲师质量、课程结构、学费、体育设施、图书馆设施、娱乐设施、学生福利等成为权重最高的评比参考。
英国大学排名中，一类是《泰晤士报》（Times）和REF这样倾向于学术成绩，另一类是《卫报》（Guardian）排名，视角多来自于学生感受。后面的这一类中，还有国际学生满意度调查（International Student Barometer）和《泰晤士报》高等教育学生体验调查（Times Higher EducationStudent Experience Survey 2016）。
2016年3月17日，《泰晤士报》高等教育学生体验调查2016年度（Times Higher EducationStudent Experience Survey 2016）结果公布。这个面向15,000个英国大学本科生的问卷调查，涉及21个参数（问题方向），其中授课环境、讲师质量、课程结构、学费、体育设施、图书馆设施、娱乐设施、学生福利等成为权重最高的评比参考。
最终的结果显示，拉夫堡大学（Loughborough University）名列学生体验度第一，比2015年度再接再厉，又上升了一位。在农业相关学科保持优势的哈珀亚当斯大学（Harper Adams University）排名第二，取得了历史最高名次。基尔大学首次排进了前十位。
在该排行榜2016年度结果中，南安普顿索伦特大学（Southampton Solent University）是升幅最大的英国大学，与上一年度相比，他们提升了36位，达到并列第54。
而垫底的20个学校中，地处伦敦的大学占了12个，主要因为学生住宿、校园感受方面的低分拉了后腿。
