英国大学排名中,一类是《泰晤士报》(Times)和REF这样倾向于学术成绩,另一类是《卫报》(Guardian)排名,视角多来自于学生感受。后面的这一类中,还有国际学生满意度调查(International Student Barometer)和《泰晤士报》高等教育学生体验调查(Times Higher EducationStudent Experience Survey 2016)。
2016年3月17日,《泰晤士报》高等教育学生体验调查2016年度(Times Higher EducationStudent Experience Survey 2016)结果公布。这个面向15,000个英国大学本科生的问卷调查,涉及21个参数(问题方向),其中授课环境、讲师质量、课程结构、学费、体育设施、图书馆设施、娱乐设施、学生福利等成为权重最高的评比参考。
最终的结果显示,拉夫堡大学(Loughborough University)名列学生体验度第一,比2015年度再接再厉,又上升了一位。在农业相关学科保持优势的哈珀亚当斯大学(Harper Adams University)排名第二,取得了历史最高名次。基尔大学首次排进了前十位。
在该排行榜2016年度结果中,南安普顿索伦特大学(Southampton Solent University)是升幅最大的英国大学,与上一年度相比,他们提升了36位,达到并列第54。
而垫底的20个学校中,地处伦敦的大学占了12个,主要因为学生住宿、校园感受方面的低分拉了后腿。
