八、携带家属
二级一般签证允许你携带家属来英国。如果你的家人来自欧洲经济区和瑞士以外的国家(地区)，他们自己需要持有签证。
家人应在以下人员范围内：
1.你的丈夫、妻子或伴侣
2.你的未满18周岁的孩子
3.你的已满18周岁的孩子(如果孩子目前已受抚养者的身份居留英国)。
你的家人(家属)也需要付附加医疗费用，作为申请的一部分。申请之前核实好他们需付多少申请费。
你的家人(家属)如果已经支付了移民附加医疗费用，他们需要在7月5日之前完成签证申请，否则他们可能得再次付费。如果需要二次付费，第一次付费将返还。
存款
你需要出具证明，表明家人(家属)居留英国期间有经济支持。
每位家属必须有630英镑可用，无论他们是和你申请还是自己申请。你自己的945英镑开销不包含在内。
你需要提供证据，表明你付得起费用，证据可以是你自己银行账户或家人银行账户里的存款，存款日期不得晚于你或家人申请签证之前的90天。
比如，你要带你的伴侣和一个孩子来英国，你需要有2205英镑(945英镑用于各人开销，630英镑用于伴侣，剩下630英镑用于孩子)。
如果你同时满足以下两个条件，你不需要存款：
1.你的赞助者属于完全批准赞助者(fully approved sponsor);
2.你持有赞助证，表明你的赞助者在必要的情况下会给你的伴侣和孩子每人至少630英镑作为一个月的费用。
在英国以外国家(地区)申请的家属
你的家人(家属)需要在线申请。
需要在签证申请中心录指纹、提交照片(以获居留许可)，作为申请的一部分。
需要在提交预达英国时间之时起的30天内搜集好居留许可生物信息。
根据国籍，他们也许可以更快地拿到签证，或者享受相应服务。详情咨询签证申请中心。
在朝鲜申请
如果你的家人居住在朝鲜，他们不能线上申请签证。
每位家属都需要自己申请：
1.下载申请表和申请指南(填表时如需帮助可参看申请指导)
2.阅读申请说明，获知申请表提交相关信息。
在英国自己申请的家属
如果你的家人已经在英国，他们可以申请延长或转入签证。
如果你的家庭成员属于你的伴侣和孩子，他们可以在线申请。
他们可以使用优先服务。
在优质服务中心办理申请可以当天拿到结果。
你的家人最好是和你同时申请，如果不能同时，他们也可以晚点申请。
已经办有访问签证的，不能以家属身份在英国申请。
准备生物信息(biometric information)
每个申请者都需要提供生物信息(指纹和照片)。你的家人可以通过以下途径准备：
1.部分邮政支行(需付19.20英镑);
2.优质服务中心(需要他们自己前往办理)。
延长签证有效期申请成功后，将收到生物居留许可(biometric residence permit)。
在英国出生的小孩
如果你在居留英国期间有小孩，你可以为小孩线上申请。
如果你想带小孩去英国旅行或离开英国，必须线上申请。
申请的时候你需要提交完整英国出生证明，表明孩子双亲的名字。
九、二次工作
如果你的新工作和第一份工作不是同一职业，或者新工作不属于志愿者工作，你需要重新申请二级一般签证。
如果新工作(每周工作时间不超过20个小时)属于紧缺职业，你不需要重新申请签证。
如果重新申请，你需要新雇主的赞助，拿到新的赞助证明。
你不可以：
1.在开始为第一个赞助者工作之前申请;
2.在申请得到同意之前开始第二份工作。

必须是在英国申请。
所需证件
该申请需要提供某些证件。
申请时你需要提交信件，说明你想换当前的居留准许证。
信息必须写明：
1.你的姓名;
2.你的出生日期;
3.当前赞助证明识别码;
4.当前居留准许证的失效日期。

8. Family members
Your family members (dependants) can come with you when you come to the UK on this visa. Your family members must have a visa if theyre from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.
A dependant is any of the following:
your husband, wife or partner your child under 18 your child over 18 if theyre currently in the UK as a dependant Read the guidance on dependant applications before you apply.
Theyll also have to pay the healthcare surcharge as part of your application. Check how much theyll have to pay before they apply.
They must complete their visa application by 5 July if theyve already paid the immigration health surcharge or they might have to pay it twice. Theyll get a refund for their first payment.
Savings
You must show that your dependants can be supported while theyre in the UK.
Each dependant must have 630 available to them whether they apply with you or separately. This is in addition to the 945 you must have to support yourself.
You must have proof you have the money, and that its been in your bank account or your dependants bank account for at least 90 days before you or they apply.
Example
You must have 2,205 if you want to bring your partner and one child with you to the UK (945 to support yourself plus 630 for your partner and 630 for your child).
You wont need evidence of your savings if you have a:
fully approved (A-rated) sponsor certificate of sponsorship stating that your sponsor will give each of your dependants at least 630 to cover their costs for a month if they need it Dependants applying from outside the UK
Your family members must apply online.
Theyll need to have their fingerprints and photograph taken at a visa application centre to get a biometric residence permit as part of their application.
Theyll have to collect their biometric residence permit within 30 days of when they said theyd arrive in the UK.
They may be able to get their visa faster or other services depending on what country theyre in - check with the visa application centre.
North Korea
Your family members cant apply online if theyre applying from North Korea.
Each family member will need to make their own application. They must:
download the application form and guidance - they can read the guidance if they need help filling in the form read the instructions to find out where they need to take their completed form Dependants applying in the UK on their own
Your dependants can apply to extend or switch their visas to stay with you if theyre already in the UK.
Your family members can apply online if theyre your:
partner child They can also ask to use the priority service.
You can get a same-day decision at a premium service centre.
Its best for your dependants to apply at the same time as you but they can apply at a later date.
Your family members cant apply in the UK as your dependant if they hold a visitor visa.
Biometric information
Each person applying must also provide their biometric information (fingerprints and a photo).
They can give biometric information at:
certain Post Office branches if they applied online (this costs 19.20) a premium service centre if they applied in person Theyll get a biometric residence permit if their application is successful.
Children born while youre in the UK
If you have children while youre in the UK, you can apply for permission for them to stay.
You must do this if you want to travel in and out of the UK with your child.
When you apply you must send a full UK birth certificate showing the names of both of your childs parents.
9. Taking a second job
Youll need to make a new Tier 2 (General) visa application if you want to do a second job that isnt in the same profession as your main job or isnt voluntary work.
You can do a second job (up to 20 hours a week) if its on the shortage listwithout making a new application.
Youll need to be sponsored by your second employer and get a new certificate of sponsorship if you make a new application.
You cant:
apply until youve started work with your first sponsor start work with your second sponsor until your application has been approved How to apply

You can get a same-day decision at a premium service centre. You must book an appointment in advance as part of your online application.
You must be in the UK to apply.
Documents you must provide
Youll need to provide some documents with your application.
You must also include a letter with your application explaining that you want to change your current permission to stay.
