Scholarships
There are a variety of scholarships available for international students who require financial assistance. The number of eligible and successful applicants varies according to the scholarship. Recruitment information on the scholarships is posted on the bulletin boards at each faculty and at the Center for Global Partnerships and Education, as well as on the website.
奖学金
对于需要经济支援的国际学生，有各种奖学金可用。有资格申请的学生和申请成功的学生的数量视具体的奖学金而定。奖学金申请信息在每个学院的布告栏上贴有，全球合作伙伴关系教育中心和冈山大学网站也有。
Criteria for Eligible Applicants (excluding Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) scholarships)
Eligible applicants should meet all of the criteria listed below.
The enrollment period in the current course should not exceed the course term period at the time of application. The applicants GPA of the previous academic year should meet the required grade point average:
Undergraduates: 2.0 and above
Graduate students: 2.3 and above
The applicant should not be currently receiving or be selected to receive, or have applied for any other scholarships.
The annual income of the financial supporter should be less than 5,000,000.
The applicants spouse is not a recipient of a Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) scholarship or Interexchange Association Japan (IAJ), nor a sponsored student of a foreign government.
The monthly stipend of the scholarship should not exceed 30,000 per month if the applicants spouse receives or will receive any scholarship or grant.
The applicant should meet all other requirements specified by the sponsor.
※The term spouse here includes a partner of a de facto relationship.
奖学金申请标准(日本政府奖学金除外)
必须满足以下条件才有资格申请：
1.当前课程注册期在申请的时候不能超过课时。申请人先前学年的平均成绩需要达到以下：
本科生2.0及以上;研究生2.3及以上。
2.申请人当前不能享受或将享受或已经申请其它奖学金。
3.经济支助人的年薪在5,000,000日元以下。
4.申请人的配偶不能是日本政府奖学金或日本互相交换协会奖学金获得者，也不能是国外政府赞助的学生。
5.如果申请人的配偶享受或即将享受其他奖学金或补贴，申请人每月的奖学金数额不能超过30,000 日元。
6.申请人需要满足赞助人规定的所有其他要求。
Application
All applicants must follow the application procedures for each scholarship. Applicants at the Tsushima campus or Shikata campus should submit the required documentation to the Center for Global Partnerships and Education of their campus. Applicants at other campuses should submit the required documents to the Academic Affairs Office of that campus. Recruitment information on the scholarships is posted on the bulletin boards at each faculty and at the Center for Global Partnerships and Education, as well as on the website. Please download the application form from the website, and submit the necessary documents to the Center for Global Partnerships and Education by the due date.
Late applications cannot be accepted for any reasons.
奖学金申请
所有申请人必须遵照奖学金申请程序。Tsushima校区和Shikata 校区的学生需要将所需文件提交到所在校区的全球合作伙伴关系教育中心。其他校区的申请人需要将所需文件提交到相应校区的学术事物处。奖学金申请信息在每个学院的布告栏上贴有，全球合作伙伴关系教育中心和冈山大学网站也有。(需要申请的学生)请到学校网站下载申请表，在截止日期之前将所需文件提交到全球合作伙伴关系教育中心。
Scholarship Selection Criteria
Scholarship candidates applying through the university are selected based on the Scholarship Guidelines for Privately Funded International Students.
Scholarship candidates are selected based on: 1. Academic performance; 2. Grade year; 3. Behavior (adherence to the immigration control laws and any other rules); 4. Whether or not he/she received any scholarship in the previous year.
奖学金筛选标准
通过冈山大学申请的奖学金候选人，基于私费国际学生奖学金指南筛选。
奖学金候选人的筛选基于学术表现、年级、行为(遵守移民控制法和其他规定)以及候选人前一年是否享受奖学金。
Note
Candidates who are waiting for the result of their scholarship application cannot apply for any other scholarship.
Please understand that any willfully false statement is sufficient cause for cancellation and return of the scholarship.
If you are selected as a recipient of a scholarship for which you have applied directly to the sponsor, please report this to the Center for Global Partnerships and Education. There are serious consequences if it is discovered that you have failed to disclose such information; namely, you will not be able to apply for any scholarship through the university, and you may be asked to return the scholarship you are receiving.
备注：
1.正在等待奖学金申请结果的候选人不能申请其他奖学金。
2.任何有意的错误陈述将构成取消和返回奖学金的充足理由。
3.如果学生享受直接向赞助人申请获得的奖学金，请告知全球合作伙伴关系教育中心。如果不告知，一经发现，将面临严重后果。换句话说，申请人将不能通过冈山大学申请任何奖学金，并且会被要求返回享受的奖学金。
Tuition / Admission Fee Exemption
Okayama University has a system for waiving all or half of the admission and/or tuition fees, or postponing the collection of admission fee. This system is available for regular students (undergraduate and graduate) who have severe difficulty paying their admission and/or tuition fees because of exceptional circumstances, and who are recognized as producing excellent academic results. To apply for this system, please submit an application during the designated period to the Student Support Division.
学费和入学费减免
冈山大学有入学费和学费全额减免和半减免制度，也可以延迟收集入学费。该制度服务于由于特殊情况在支付入学费和学费方面有严重困难并且被认定为学术成绩优秀的统招生(本科生和研究生)。为了申请入学费和学费减免，申请人需要在规定的时间将申请表提交到学生支助处。
